Costanza Consolandi, PhD has extensive expertise in underlining the financial materiality of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Consolandi is Associate Professor of Corporate Finance at the University of Siena, where she teaches undergraduate courses in corporate finance and graduate courses in corporate valuation.

In the last years, her research has focused primarily on finance and sustainability. She is a member of the Academic Network of UN-supported Principle of Responsible Investments (PRI) and from 2010 to 2015 she was a member of the EU-funded research project FESSUD (Finance, Economy, Society and Sustainable Development). As external expert, she works with KKS Advisors, supporting companies to develop sustainable strategies that deliver lasting impact. Her recent paper on investor materiality and the Sustainable Development Goals (with G. Betti and R.G. Eccles), has been featured on Forbes and presented at the SASB Open House event at the 2018 PRI in Person, at the 2018 Berkeley Sustainable Business and Investment Forum, at the 2018 UKSIF London Conference, at the 6th OECD World Forum on Well-Being in Incheon (Korea), and at the 2018 SASB Symposium.
